It’s the most wonderful time of the year! 

Hartlepool Christmas Lights Switch-On takes over Church Square once again with a fantastic evening of festive entertainment. Don a Santa hat, pocket a mince pie or two and wrap up warm as a merry line-up of singers, panto stars and more take over the stage to get us in the mood for the snowy season. The event will run from 5.00pm to 6.30pm, by which point, the town will be awash with light and Christmas cheer in equal measure.  A selection of the town’s incredible COVID heroes have been asked to hit the button, to acknowledge and commend the amazing work they have done during the pandemic. Following the switch-on itself comes a light show, choreographed by Daniel Brobbel of Artistic Solutions, which will see Hartlepool Art Gallery lit up in spectacular fashion.

So let the sleigh bells ring and the snow fall, and head on down to Church Square on Friday 3rd December.
