Join Teesside- based anti-racist educator, public speaker, and organiser, Marsha Garratt, as she presents how the Museum of Hartlepool collections connect to the wider story of the British Empire.

Through the story of a Hartlepool alderman, the Royal Mail, and a West African sculpture, Marsha will be sharing how she leads decolonial research focussing on European colonisation and how exploitation shaped the social and economic circumstances of people living in Hartlepool and those living in Nigeria.
